Tiffany Haddish was previously arrested for a DUI in January 2022 after she was also found asleep at the wheel.

She later joked about the situation during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon: “I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform. I wasn’t expecting it. I was not expecting that at all. Now, I’ve got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out. I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better.”

The lawsuit was later dismissed by the claimant who said in a statement: “My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years — and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”
