    1. I would donate $2 just support the idea of the roots album. It is by far the best hip-hop related album of the decade, and one of the best of all time. If you don’t think so, its because it’s over your head, and therefore you may be too weak-minded to ever catch up to it. pure genius.

      1. you are so dumb, so dumb, so, so so dumb. liking music comes from a feeling, not an understanding. the chronic is one of the best hip hop albums of all time and that shit aint going over nobodies head.

      2. You are clearly someone with a very limited knowledge of music. You specifically seem to have no knowledge of the history of music. For instance, take Miles Davis “Milestones.” Amongst anyone who understands music, the album is regarded as one of the most sophisticated jazz albums ever made. However, it didn’t garner popular recognition in it’s time. I think it’s safe to say, Miles Davis always made music based on “a feeling.” And, that truly great art is consistently ahead of it’s time. You think The Roots album wasn’t constructed based on a feeling. That album captures a place, a time, and a feeling more accurately than 90% of all hip-hop albums. Period. Do yourself a favor and do a little research before you post ignorant shit onto the internet. Until then, enjoy jacking off to the chronic, and waiting around for detox. faggot.

      3. @ddot

I thought it was just me, but if you listen to a ROOTS CD you know exactly what was going on during that time,in culture and politics.

    2. Guess I’ll cop both. Amazon got a good thing going on by selling these albums for so cheap. If bootleggers still feel the need to d/l these for free, then they should go hang themselves.
