The Roots, Common & Queen Latifah To Perform At Philly Fourth Of July Jam

    The lineup has been announced for the Philly Fourth of July Jam.

    The Roots are slated to headline the event, which is being hailed as the “largest free concert in America.” Last year’s event drew over 500,000 attendees.

    Additional performers at this year’s show include Queen Latifah, Daryl Hall, Common and Joe Jonas. The concert will start at noon on Independence Day on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

    “We are very excited to be back again as the headlining band for the Philly Fourth of July Jam,” said ?uestlove in a statement. “It is an amazing event and we are proud to be an integral part of the show. You can expect an Independence Day celebration full of music right on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway-Philly is the place to be for the 4th of July.”
