The Game isn’t too happy about how his Father’s Day turned out this year. The Compton rap star took to Instagram on Monday (June 21) to air out his grievances toward those who didn’t show him any love on the annual holiday in a six-minute long video.
“Yesterday, woke up on Father’s Day, and the only person that really acknowledged the fact that I was a father was my oldest son,” The Game said in the clip shared by TheShadeRoom. “He got me some cologne, you know, some stuff within his budget, and I thought that was beautiful. I appreciated it. That’s how I raised him, to be humble and always take care of your people when they’re very present.”
According to The Game’s lengthy video, the ones he takes care of didn’t show him any praise for being a father. He compared the situation to how he goes above and beyond for the mothers in his life on Mother’s Day.
“As a father, I always went above and beyond for my children and even the people around me,” he said. “They should take notice, you should understand that on Father’s Day, that’s a very important day. Mother’s Day over the years, I’ve went all out on Mother’s Day.”
The Game continued, “For Father’s Day, for some reason, around the board overall, it gets a little disrespectful. I’m starting to feel like the deadbeat dads out there. You got fathers out there that are putting in major work, and a holiday comes around for us, and I feel like people don’t give a fuck about it, at least in my life because like yesterday, other than eating with my son, I don’t really have anything to show for Father’s Day.”
The Game explained the people he looks out for can go on Instagram and post everything under the sun but won’t find time to put up a happy Father’s Day post. He even took it further, saying he gets more love from strangers who sent him texts on the special day.
“I got a lot of texts from people I barely even know, strangers, some lengthy, some paragraphs,” The Game said. “The people that I know personally, that I take care of and look out for on a daily, monthly and yearly basis for years, crickets.”

A lukewarm Father’s Day is the least of The Game’s worries. Last month, Justice Sarah Derrington ordered the “How We Do” rapper to fork over $478,119.73 in damages, plus interest of $78,508.08 for a canceled 2017 Australia tour. The seven-city tour had expected stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and more.

Once you wake up it’s hard to go back to sleep.

The sad thing is they were probably with step-dads. No life-long relationship/marriage is easy but its a lot easier than watching your kids spend more time with another man. When these splits happen, the kids are most of the time with the mom more and therefore more time with the stepdad. And then the kids see the stepdad as more of a father figure because it feels like more of a family with them. Obviously dont know that is what happened to Game here..
I make it appoint to honor the fathers of my family and friends on Father’s Day! It’s only right!! The kids and baby mommas don’t have a problem asking for crap!! One day out of a year and you can’t wish a man a happy Father’s day.. It’s selfish and wrong.. Now if the daddy ain’t crap, you get no argument from me!!
