The Game has one-upped 2 Chainz’s Kobe Bryant tribute tattoo and Chris Brown’s face tattoo by combining the two.
The West Coast rapper debuted some new ink via Instagram on Wednesday (February 12), getting Bryant’s No. 8 tatted above his eye.
“F O R E V E R,” Game wrote in the caption.
The veteran MC unveiled his tattoo homage to the late Los Angeles Lakers legend after 2 Chainz revealed his own Bryant-inspired ink work earlier this week. While Game opted to emblazon the former NBA MVP’s original number on his forehead, 2 Chainz chose to get the basketball star’s No. 24 tattooed across his legs.
Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others died in a fatal helicopter crash on January 26. A public memorial is scheduled to take place at the Lakers’ home arena, the Staples Center, in Los Angeles on February 24.
