The news is traveling fast, “The Eminem Show” is available for bootlegging. Despite all the security, the bootlegger has prevailed and the joke is on Eminem…or is it. These so-called advances of “The Eminem Show” are not quite what they are cracked up to be.
There are two songs that are available, the lead single “Without Me,” and the Jermaine Dupri dis track with Dre called “Say What You Say.” The lead single is classic Eminem and basically sticks to the same formula that “My Name Is” and “The Real Slim Shady” followed.
The rest of the tracks available are not quite what they are cracked up to be. They are the beats and the chorus looped over and over. Actually, it is worth the download because it really gives you an idea of what to expect from the album. From the sounds of things it should be pretty dope. The tracklisting that is going around is not reliable, there are several tracks included that are unlikely to be on the album. “Murder Murder” from “The Slim Shady EP” and the Next Friday soundtrack, “Our House” and “The One” with Royce Da 5’9. The latter two songs are both a couple years old, “Our House” is probably the funniest song Em has ever done. There is also the original version of “Renegades” with Royce Da 5’9, the beat is slightly varied from the version with Jay-Z and Em’s verses are the same. That is unlikely to appear on the album. Here is a list of some the albums tracks (in no order):
