Teyana Taylor is sick of the way her divorce from Iman Shumpert is being reported, especially in light of the fact she says she did her best to keep things private.

The “Gonna Love Me” singer took to social media to express her frustration with websites like TMZ, claiming that they are misconstruing the situation.

She wrote on Instagram, “Yo @tmz you serious???? Y’all really be taking it too far with these d*mn misleading headlines and I’m tired of it!  Every time I turn around it’s either half leaked and made up stories, or words being twisted up for clickbait!!!! I kindly ask you mothaf%ckas to mind ya damn business, and for y’all to respect me and my family’s privacy.”

Taylor seemed to be responding to a story from TMZ that claimed Iman Shumpert was, “playing dirty in their divorce war…slowly shutting down all the utilities in the home where she lives with their 2 children.”

The “Issues/Hold On” crooner filed for divorce in January 2023 using her and Iman’s initials to protect their privacy, which was spoiled by the former NBA player, who counter-filed using their real names.
