Teen Shot On Set Of YFN Lucci’s Latest Music Video

A teen suffered minor injuries after a shooting broke out in an apartment complex where YFN Lucci was shooting a music video.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Lucci was filming at the Martin Street Plaza Apartments in southeast Atlanta on Wednesday night (June 3) when “at least three suspects” opened fire. Atlanta Police Department spokesman Steve Avery confirmed in a statement a 15-year-old was shot in the hand along with a few parked cars.

“The investigation revealed that at the time of the incident a music video production was underway when at least three suspects began shooting,” Officer Avery said. “In addition to the injured victim, several vehicles in the parking lot were damaged.”

The teen was taken to a hospital and is expected to make a fully recovery. Lucci wasn’t on set when cops arrived, and police say they’ve yet to get in touch with him to help determine whether the shooting was related to him and/or the filming or an unrelated incident.

It’s unclear what Lucci was shooting a video for, but it could be a cut from his April EP, Corona Pack. Like many of his peers, the ATL native took advantage of the quarantine and dropped six new tracks for fans, with features from Boosie Badazz, Bankroll Freddie and YFN Kay.
