The set of Snoop Dogg’s autobiographical stage play Redemption of a Dogg reportedly turned into a real life drama last week in Washington D.C.
According to The JasmineBRAND, co-star Tamar Braxton left midway during her performance after a D.C. friend of hers wasn’t allowed backstage. The friend was attempting to deliver food to her, but security was unaware the delivery was on its way. Consequently, they wouldn’t let Braxton’s friend to enter the backstage area.
Braxton then “became hysterical” and refused to finish the second act of the show.
An insider reportedly said, “This isn’t my first rodeo as it pertains to live theater, but I’ve never, ever seen anyone quit over something like this and disappoint their fans this way. She was completely hysterical and totally out of control.
“She kept screaming, ‘She’s not here for this,’ then saying, ‘I’m so sick of this shit.’ Then she said, ‘You can do this damn show without her,’ again, addressing herself in the third person.”
Although 10 tickets were reportedly refunded, some attendees still felt frustrated by the evening’s events.

I use to be a Fan of Tamar’s and I thought her antics were Cute in the beginning of her career, Now it’s just annoying and unprofessional…her family has to put up with that nonsense and she’s realizing no one else does… she’s Blessed to be in a position to have so many career opportunities and taken all of it for granted… pretty soon no one in the industry is going to have nothing to do with her…to be honest with you I was done with Tamar when she couldn’t give recognition to her own sister Toni Braxton for opening doors for her and the other sisters… Stop being a Bi polar Lunatic and grow up…. it’s not cute or funny anymore…..

4). I need to stand-up for myself; and to
Right any Wrongs I’ve done.
5). I need continue Therapy.

It was nothing about her missing a meal; it was the fact that her friend was discriminated against. Lonnie did say she stood up for him and you can see he was moved by that, people like to judge, Tamar is Tamar people either love her or not but that’s their choice, why hate a person for who they are, that’s crazy. Lonnie is happy, the play was a success, Tamar was satisfied, JeCaryous got his coins, Snoop received his redemption and the other cast were Excellent!

In response to the statement you made: ”men hate women”. That was an understatement! The petty act of the security team refusing to let Tamar’s friend take food in, was just another form of abuse! There was more than one way to make sure Tamar got her food; even if they didn’t let the food delivery person through. What they did was just way too extra; for no reason! Tamar getting up set about her food not being delivered was warranted! Tamar is Tamar and She will get her point across, that’s why we love her; and will pay to see her every time! Note to all black ballers: you stand to lose if you miss out on the Tamar train!

I’ve been reading all the comments, and as adults I’m pretty disappointed. I’m pretty sure there’s so much more to the story, this is it CNN news, it’s a gossip site. No one knows how the friend was treated or what was said to her, and no one knows what was said to make Tamar Walk off. Tamar has been doing this for a while so I’m sure she’s been hungry before. There’s so much more to the story, I’d love to hear it.
Unless something crazy was said or done, this behavior is unacceptable from a professional in any setting. I doubt one of the stars would be disrespected to th point of this kind of blow up. The likely scenario is not one where she gets wronged in a huge way, but one where she has a tantrum (those happen all the time). I don’t believe the quotes, but not going out for the rest of the show is a joke and is crazier than anything she could have actually said backstage.

Well if thats the case when its business and personal there comes a time when u have to seperate the two. If u cant find a balance take some time out for yourself because life goes on even with everyday problems we all have..No excuse for that behavior period!
