Now, the King is ready to speak on more, including photography, damaging rumors about his cooperation with the police and allegations of snitching in interviews with Respect and XXL.
“I’m known as ‘the King.’ Although it’s disputed by some, concurred by most, there ain’t no disputing that lion—that is what it is. So I went and told them, ‘Get me as close as you can to a lion,'” he told Respect for their latest issue. “I figured we had to do some kind of slick and meaningful imagery to say the obvious without doing the obvious.”
He also noted that his name and the album’s title will be absent from the cover, adding that, “Everything is right there…You ain’t got to beat people in the head with what you’re trying to say. Everything understood don’t need to be explained.”
He has also spoken on the G code, saying that there is no truth to those snitching rumors, as he takes the cover of the latest XXL issue.
“What people don’t take into consideration is the reason that I was eligible for certain agreements that they weren’t eligible for was because I made myself a useful member of society. I want to ask if I am a snitch. A kid tried to jump my friend for no reason at a club so I came over and knocked him out. Two weeks later he pushed my girlfriend at a club and told her he was going to kill me, so I went to his place with some friends, he wasnt home so we bitched out his roomate and trashed his apartment. I challenged the kid to fight, but he ended up hitting me in the back of the head and running away, outside a bar. So then the next day I fought his “toughest” friend one on one and then absolutely beat the shit out of the kid. Then a month went by and I was getting into a cab and I got jumped by 2 goons he hired. I was being held by a few people while I was hit repeatidly and almost died. My small roommate tried to stop it but was thrown aside. He called the cops before I got back to my place and they came and took statements from the girls he was with. I wasnt going to testify against the kid, but then he heard my roommate had called the cops so he had his friends jump him and then try and charge me with attempted murder. He also told the cops to search my place for a gun. I ended up beating my charges at pretrial and saying fuck him, he tried to end my life with a bullshit attempted murder charge and I didnt want him to have power over me so I stood up and testified against him. The only problem now is, I have always lived by the street code of not talking to the police, but this time I only did it because I was testifying against a person who tried to kill me then put attempted murder charges on me. I used to rap, but now I feel like I shudnt because I testified even though the kid had it coming. Am I out of the game? or can I still rap if I don’t claim to be a gangbanger?

Not necessarily. I have been in the Federal penal system for some time now and one thing I know for sure, and secondly for certain, is that all cooperating witnesses have “Paper Trails”. Every Assistant Attorney General using a cooperating witness in a trial up to/ and not necessarily including murder, is required to present said witness to the court for the record and log the information given by the cooperating witness by date, time, and witness along with a signature. That is the case for any informant. From ALFAMEGA, Frank Lucas, ALPO, Nicky Barnes etc… So why would the Federal Government make the exception of keeping track of their informants for little ol’ T.I.? He certainly does not have more bank than Frank Lucas’ organization had. Nor does he have more than Freeway Ricky Ross had at the height of his crime spree. Neither of them were kept exempt from the rule even though both were deemed to have been better off free than incarcerated. The case is simple. This is a new age. T.I. was simply deemed to be of better use on the streets than in prison. Simple as that. I have researched and had my employees research the cause and there is no paperwork, at all, in existence linking T.I. to cooperating with the Federal Government. Anyone speaking contrary to that is simply speaking from ignorance and lack of facts.
