T.I. Allowed To Attend Easter Services

Despite awaiting trial and remaining under house arrest, T.I. will be allowed to attend Easter services this coming Sunday.

A federal magistrate judge ruled, today, that the Atlanta-based rapper would be allowed to leave his home between 8:30 AM and 2 PM on Easter Sunday. This ruling complies that he will be attending a service sponsored by New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

According to court documents, the service will be held at the Georgia Dome in Downtown Atlanta, but due to recent tornado damage the event may be relocated. If changed, the service will be moved to the church’s Lithonia location.

Although he will be allowed to leave his home, the judge said T.I. must be accompanied during the specified time period by a court-approved monitor and one of his attorneys.

T.I. is currently under house arrest after being arrested at the 2007 BET Hip-Hop Awards for gun charges. Federal officials claim the rapper was planning on picking up three machine guns and two silencers he had his bodyguard buy for him.
