Swizz Beatz has made his wife Alicia Keys the butt of his jokes by claiming that the caucasian side of her bloodline revealed itself during the couple’s recent club outing.
On Monday (August 7), Swizz took to Instagram to lay into his wife after she asked to be served carrots instead of an alcoholic beverage at a club.

“Y’all be thinking I’m crazy when I talk about this white side stuff,” the producer began while in the car with Alicia by his side.
“Let me tell you what this one done did now. So, we in the club, chilling, music, everything’s going fine. It’s amazing. Everybody’s ordering what they’re ordering. And the waitress asked her if she wanted a drink. She says, ‘No, do you have some carrots?'”

Alicia Keys — who is half Black and half wife — chimed in and said: “I was hungry!”
“She tried to order carrots in the goddamn club!” Swizz continued in disbelief.

“They had food in the club and they didn’t have food I could eat,” Keys pleaded. “I wanted to eat something that was going to be good for me. I’m on tour and I’m doing things, and I want to be a certain way.”
“That’s that white side stuff,” Swizz joked. “You ordering carrots in the club. Guys, is that not white side? Carrots?!”

The Grammy Award-winning producer continued to rib his wife in his Instagram caption.
“The White Side is in full effect again!! [carrot emojis][farmer emojis],” he wrote. “@aliciakeys Carrots in the Club ??? Where we at Club Vegan [shoulder shrug emojis].”

Meanwhile, the married couple’s son Genesis has kept close guard over his superstar mother as of lately.
Last month, Swizz Beatz shared a photo on IG of a stone-faced Genesis standing directly in front of his mom’s piano as she performed in Salt Lake City as part of her Keys To The Summer Tour.
While artists like Cardi B and Drake have been getting things thrown at them on stage — Genesis said not on his watch.
“My boy said I’m not playing no games on moms stage,” Swizz wrote on IG with laughing emojis. “He a real serious one [laughing emoji] Thank you Gen we love you and your protection [laughing emoji] He didn’t care she was live on stage [laughing emojis].”

Days earlier, the eight-year-old aired his grievances about his mother’s nipple covers that showed a bit too much for his liking.
“[Are you] really gonna do this mom?” he asked backstage before her Brooklyn concert, pointing to Keys’ heart-shaped stickers. “So everybody can see your boobs. I’ve never seen somebody do that.”

After Keys pointed out that the reason he might never have ever seen anyone wear nipple pasties before was because of his age, she added: “It’s not a big deal — it’s boobs. Everyone has boobs.”
