Suge Knight is planning to tell his life story in an upcoming TV series inspired by 50 Cent‘s hit STARZ series, BMF.
According to TMZ, the former Death Row CEO and his brother, Brian Brown, are collaborating on a series chronicling Knight’s journey to superstardom and eventual tragedy.

While Suge’s time as one of Hip Hop’s most powerful and feared executives is well-documented, the project promises to devote plenty of airtime to his pre-music industry beginnings as a kid growing up in Compton with dreams of becoming a football coach.
Knight and his brother are currently looking for actors to play 2Pac and other key figures from Death Row Records’ heyday.
The TV series will begin shooting this summer, according to the outlet.
Suge Knight was sentenced to 28 years in prison in 2018 for the hit-and-run death of Terry Carter three years prior. Carter’s death occurred during the filming of the blockbuster N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton.
At that time, Knight copped to one count of voluntary manslaughter and admitted that he used his truck as a deadly weapon on that fateful day — a special allegation for the now-closed case.

As a co-founder of Death Row Records, the 57-year-old is responsible for producing platinum records for artists such as 2Pac, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, who now owns the legendary gangsta rap label.
Earlier this month, the West Coast rap icon brought Death Row’s discography back to streaming services after initially removing it last year over gripes with artist payouts.
“We heard you. The time has come. Death Row Records catalog is back streaming everywhere tonight 9pm PST,” he wrote on Instagram next to a Death Row-themed video montage.
Hours later, Snoop celebrated the catalog’s return by sharing screenshots of Death Row’s collection of classic albums on Apple Music. “We back,” he wrote in one post, while adding in another: “What u bumpin first ???”
