Alton McDonald, an associate of Marion “Suge” Knight, was shot at a Shell gas station in Compton, CA yesterday. McDonald was pumping gas when a dark pickup drove up and started shooting. McDonald was hit in the upper body and died at Saint Francis Medical Center. According to police, a man who was with McDonald fled the scene after the shooting. Police suspect that there were several people in the car and at least one of them got out and opened fire. McDonald’s killers remain at large.
Allegedly, McDonald was driving a vehicle registered to the current head of Tha Row security. Suge Knight visited McDonald at the hospital and according to the LA Times, paid his respects to the family of McDonald. In 1996, McDonald was caught on a surveillance camera in Las Vegas with Suge Knight the night Tupac was shot and killed.
