In recent weeks teen rapper Soulja Boy [click to read] revealed that he will be working on an upcoming album entitled The DeAndre Way. News of this new album comes only months after the December 2008 release of his second album iSouljaBoyTellem.
“Right now I’m in the studio recording the third album The DeAndre Way,” Soulja Boy told HipHopDX. “It’s gonna be a classic. Right now I’m looking to aim for early September, early October release.” 
Although his singles “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” and “Turn My Swag On” were chart-topping hits, Soulja Boy’s second album iSouljaBoyTellem has only managed to be a mild success selling a little under 250,000 since its release.
The album featured production by both Jim Jonsin [click to watch] and Polow Da Don as well as production by Soulja Boy himself, Mr. Collipark, Drumma Boy, and more.
“I mostly do all my own producing, but I will be reaching back out to Jim Jonsin,” Soulja Boy revealed to HipHopDX. “He produced ‘Kiss Me Thru The Phone’, ‘Lollipop’ for Lil Wayne, ‘Whatever You Like’ for TI. I will be reaching back out to Jim Jonsin. Of course Polow Da Don. I go by ear, I don’t go by name.”
Soulja Boy also recently revealed that he will be reaching out to Kanye West and Lil Wayne for his upcoming album.
