Soulja Boy has cleared up rumors that plagued the start of his career surrounding him being in the Illuminati.

Big Draco took to social media over the weekend where he pushed back against the “bullshit” claims which he said tried to discredit his innovative success when he invaded Hip Hop over 15 years ago.

“When I first got in the rap game a lot of people was like, ‘Soulja Boy joined the Illuminati. That’s how he got his money. That’s how he got famous, that’s how he got rich.’ But guess what? All I ever did was pray to God and stay in the studio and stay down until I got on,” he began.

“They always try to discredit you for anything you do. First, they said I was in the Illuminati. Then they said a whole bunch of bullshit. All you gotta do is believe in God and stay down. Nothing can fuck with you. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”

Soulja continued: “When you really believe in God, you gon’ go through shit. You gon’ see the media lying on you. You gon’ see n-ggas you don’t know beefing with you out of nowhere — hating on you. You go through more shit when you fuck with God.”

Big Draco believes his accomplishments in Hip Hop deserve more credit than a cheat code Illuminati allegation as he’s stood the test of time for well over a decade.

Soulja Boy recently addressed claims he could’ve killed Hip Hop with his untraditional approach, explaining he feels many copied his blueprint when it came to embracing the internet and parlaying it into success.

“When I came in the game they said I killed hip hop. But really, I birthed the new wave of hip hop with internet/streaming. Ahead of my time. #HipHop50,” he tweeted earlier this month with Hip Hop turning 50 years old.
