Snoop Dogg has continued to make big moves as the owner of Death Row Records, reinstating one of the labelâs former artists on its roster.
The West Coast rap legend took to Instagram over the weekend to announce that Danny Boy has returned to Death Row following his exit years ago.

âHeâs bac home,â Snoop wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the veteran R&B singer cooking up in the studio.
Various artists took to the comments to react to the news, with DJ Quik commenting: âThis is [tick emoji]â and DJ Premier writing: âWOWWWWWWW.â
Fellow R&B stars Omarion, Faith Evans and Anthony Hamilton also shared their excitement.
Danny Boy celebrated his reunion with Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records on his own Instagram page while confirming that he has new music in the works.
âAfter 20 something years I finally got@the opportunity to do a song with the #dog #bigbro that open the door for us all @deathrowrecords @snoopdogg wow canât believe this past week⊠I went on a #faithwalk #staytuned,â he wrote.

In another post, he said his new chapter with Death Row would be âamazing.â
âThanks to my Neice @sasha_lanyae and her coworker @americanairline for having me sing on the mic and welcoming me back to #deathrow wow this chapter is going to be amazing,â he said.
Danny Boy is best known for his appearances on 2Pacâs All Eyez on Me and The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, lending his voice to tracks such as âI Ainât Mad at Cha,â âPicture Me Rollin'â and âHeaven Ainât Hard 2 Find.â
Suge Knight originally signed the Chicago native to a five-year deal when he was just 16.

He made his debut on 1994âs Murder Was the Case soundtrack before releasing his first single âSlip N Slideâ the following year.
Danny Boyâs debut album, Itâs About Time, was shelved by Death Row but was released years later in 2010, with DJ Quik producing most of the project. Guest features came from Roger Troutman and Jodeci member Joel âJoJoâ Hailey.
Snoop Dogg previously offered to bring Danny Boy back to the label last year after a video of him singing made the rounds online.
Tha Doggfather took to Instagram to share a clip in which the 45-year-old singer proved he hadnât lost any of his vocal talent. âYour seat on Death Row awaits you @dannyboysteward,â Snoop wrote in the caption.

Danny Boyâs signing comes shortly after another Death Row act returned to the label, with Tha Dogg Pound set to release their new album We All We Got via the Snoop-owned imprint this summer.
