Snoop Dogg & Kanye West Tour With Rockers

The ever-evolving format of hip-hop will continue to grow as both Snoop Dogg and Kanye West are set to co-headline heavily concentrated rock events this summer.

According to various reports, Snoop and the 311 rockers will hit the
road June 24 to embark on a tour that is set to run through early
    August.

For 311, this means promotion before the release of their next studio
LP. They are currently finalizing that album and they may even share
new songs for fans on this tour. Snoop, who has enjoyed much success
due to the new reality show and “Sensual Seduction,” is out to support
Ego Trippin’, his latest studio album.

311‘s Unity Tour has also allowed the rockers to unite with others including The Roots and Matisyahu.

Kanye West will headline along the likes of rock groups including The Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson and Nine Inch Nails for the Virgin Mobile Festival on August 9th-10th.

The emergence of hip-hop artists collaborating and performing with entertainers outside of their own format has become an on-going trend. As previously reported by HipHopDX, Jay-Z headlining the Pemberton Festival [click to read] along with Fabolous joining the OneRepublic [click to read] are merely two of the most recent hip-hop meets rock combinations we have seen.
