Snoop Dogg Introduces “Puff Puff Pass Tuesdays”

Snoop Dogg’s new album, The Doggumentary, isn’t due until March but fans won’t have to wait until then to hear new music from the West Coast legend. Snoop is joining the long line of artists to offer new music to the masses on a weekly installment plan. Today marks the inaugural day of what Snoop has christened #PuffPuffPassTuesdays.

Just a few hours ago Snoop made his first weekly song available on his twitter feed and on Facebook. The track is called “El Lay”; it was produced by Scoop Deville and features Marty James. The new song is, according to Snoop, a tribute to the upcoming NBA All Star Weekend being held in Los Angeles this February.

Go here to download “El Lay.” And be sure to check Snoop’s Twitter and Facebook page every Tuesday for exclusive new music.

    1. This doberman pincher lookin nigga needs to retire already and let the better young talent (soulja boy) take the throne.

      Soulja boy Tell’em!

      1. Both you and Soulja Boy can eat a fat can of dicks, wash your face with your jizz, and then blow each other’s assholes to shreds. Asshole goin hammer, bammer bammer bammer!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

      2. @anon Says the guy who is too scared to put his screen name on Hip Hop DX. You suck Nas’s cock every day and don’t even buy shit. You download every album you “like”.

        It’s Gucci Time!

      3. Waaaay better than your faggot ass ‘Super’ screen names. Man you must have one sad uneventful pathetic life when you find entertainment in the shit you do on this site.

      4. you put way too much effort into these “characters” on this site. Nobody even laughs. you must literally have nothing to do.

      5. Fuck you talkin about. The shit is funny and is the truth. Gucci and tellem on a song together will lyrically dismantle all opposition. You want dope lyrics check out any tracks featuring these two. The next decade in rap looks good with these two in the game. Nas tried to kill hiphop but gucci rescued it.

      1. you dont understand, i guess your not very bright…rap is waaaayyy too saturated with corny wack raps and snoop releasing a song a week is def not goin to help

    2. snoop is washed up, the songs are gonna be crap. the reason why i dont want all these fakes doin this weekly shit is because its usually rushed nd no good. kanye nd crooked i are the only ones to pull it off. imo they shoulda be the only ones doin this shit, the reaosn crooked stopped is because of bitches like snoop, swizz, timbo, lloyd banks, etc. smh

    3. Lame. Snoop been rap talkin in music for the last decade. Wish he would just stop musically. Take the money and explore other ventures. It’s clear you aren’t hungry anymore

    4. jumping on the weekly bandwagon…Crooked I started it with Hip Hop Weekly’s, Kanye followed with G.O.O.D. Fridays, Lloyd Banks jumped on with Blue Fridays, Swizz Beatz is/was doing Monster Mondays, Timbaland has Timbo Tuesday or Thursday, now Snoop’s doing Puff Puff Pass Tuesdays. Out of everybody i named Crooked I and Kanye actually put out good shit, I didn’t really listen to Lloyd Banks’ stuff, i’m sure it wasn’t too bad. This is getting ridiculous though, Snoop has fallen off pretty bad, i’m not looking forward to his stuff at all.

    5. Artist have did similar things B4, like Crooked I most notably, and then Ye elevated it, and rly made it popular. It’s kinda like the autotune, Roger Troutman pioneered it, Cher and other ppl had dabbled with it, and T-Pain took it to the next level. Now everyone is trying to do it, and it’s getting played out. i don’t mind free music, but not every artist is Kanye, if someone like Cole (that’ll never happen b/c he’s highly afraid of oversaturation) did it, I’d be pumped, but all these c-level rappers ain’t hitting on nothin

      1. I couldn’t agree more. These weekly releases getting played out. I love free music but I think it’s getting over saturated. The music should be fresh and raw not some weekly sitcom type shit. Monthly or quartely releases would be better. Oh and I truly respect snoop for his contributions to music but he’s becoming some what of a gimmick.

    6. Man fuck Snoop Dogg. He should go back to watching Peanuts. He named himself after a fucking dog for God’s sakes. There should be a Gucci day where REAL HIP HOP is. Gucci Monday? Gucci Tuesday? You know what? Every day our Lord and Rap Savior Gucci Mane should release a song that spits out the truth and his words of wisdom.

      It’s Gucci Time!

    7. there’s a glut of hip hop music floating around right now — these weekly releases certainly aren’t helping

      1. Ain’t nobody listening to that shit over here. Stop lying.

Baltimore is Ravenstown! Black and Purple muthafuckah!!!
