Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre & The D.O.C. Reunite For Instagram

Snoop Dogg has spent much of quarantine keeping people entertained whether it be via his Verzuz Instagram Live appearance or comments about the world at large.

On Saturday (August 15), Snoop shared a number of photos to his IG account, none more striking than the one featuring himself with Dr. Dre and The D.O.C.

Snoop wrote in the caption, “Bacc2gether. Again. Tri fector.”

The long and storied history of Dre, Snoop and D.O.C. dates back to the late 1980s when D.O.C. was signed to Ruthless Records and ran with N.W.A, eventually leading to Dre producing D.O.C.’s classic debut album, No One Does It Better. After Dre discovered Snoop, the Long Beach legend and the D.O.C. teamed together to help write The Chronic, Dre’s landmark solo debut as well as Snoop’s 1993 debut, Doggystyle.

Snoop and Dre’s reunion isn’t the first time the pair have seen one another. In June, Snoop took video of a studio session with Dre and Kanye West. Ye and Dre are reportedly working on Jesus Is King 2 and Snoop decided to give the world a little first-hand look.

“Kanye West got some hot music. Shhhhh,” Snoop whispers in the clip. “Kanye West got some hot shit. Only I can get exclusive footage. Shut up. Kanye West got some hot shit. It’s finna come out. Dr. Dre touched it.”

    1. Only Two were responsible for those hits honestly, The D.O.C and Dr Dre. Snoop couldn’t even write a verse if it weren’t for The D.O.C pretty much ghostwriting almost everything. Snoop just was doing the ad-libs and freestyling and doing skits on the Chronic..Snoop is a fraud. I had respect for him for the longest until he. 1) became a snitch. 2) Found out that he’s been lying about his gangsta persona and is joke loc. 3) He’s a disloyal sellout 4) hypocrite who critiques others on using ghostwriters or being snitches but he’s one himself.

      1. Then why were his rhymes just as good when he wasn’t working with Dre and D.O.C.? Snoop has openly admitted when he’s collaborated on writing and when he hasn’t.

      2. You sound dumb as fuck I can tell you dont listen real rap like that u a youngin go sip on Ya similac you need some

    2. To Dog lost his bark: You are a retard. Snoop is a classic period. Been making hits for almost 30 years.

      1. Can’t remember the last real one though….. 1998??? That pop crap he has been churning out the past 2 decades is just throwaway garbage.

    3. Yet…it’s just a matter of time til DOC gives another interview where he claimes him and Dre are over for good. Not a G thang, it’s an on an off thang

    4. Dope ass years in hip-hop.if you didn’t live it, boo hoo to you. It’s all love though! Nothin like it ever again. Y’all can’t block party for shit like we did during Dre days. HOA rules and shit. Dre is an important man in memories of many people. He made nights and weekends happen.

    5. Brandon, you left out the gem picture: The one of Dre and Snoop all boo’d up in the field. LOL Post that ASAP
