Snoop had been working with Trump to persuade the TV star-turned-politician to grant clemency to Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris, who was in prison on cocaine trafficking and attempted murder charges.

The report claims that Trump’s aides compiled a dossier on Snoop and his criticism of the president, leading the Republican to allegedly say: “Well, fuck him.”

Trump then removed Harry-O from the clemency list before Snoop’s team and other aides showed the outgoing president footage of the rapper praising him.

In a last-minute U-turn, Harry-O was granted clemency on Trump’s final day in office.

Snoop Dogg was a frequent critic of Donald Trump during his controversial presidency, previously calling him “racist.”

“So, me and my homeboys sittin’ up here talkin’ about all the people that President Trump disrespected. Women, gays, transgenders, Blacks, Mexicans, Asians and now veterans. Hmmm. Seems like he’s disrespecting every color in the world and everything that ain’t what he is, which is a racist,” he said in a YouTube video in 2020.

“With that being said, the people that voted for him got exactly what they wanted. They gave them what he said he was gon’ do. So the next muthafucka, you better tell us what we gon’ get for your vote. You better show up and deliver, period.”

In his music video for “Lavender” that was released in 2017, Snoop held a fake gun to a Trump lookalike’s head and pulled the trigger, stirring controversy.
