Slim Thug has responded to Megan Thee Stallion rebuffing his romantic overtures during her set at Coachella.
Slim has made no secret of his interest in the Houston Hottie, even claiming that Megan had a crush on him.
However, this was denied by Megan during her Coachella performance where she played Slim’s classic hit “Still Tippin'” and said: “And no, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe.”
In a social media video, Slim has responded to Megan and taken her comments in his stride.

He started off by joking: “I can’t do Megan Thee Stallion. Gotta do Megan Thee Auntie, 10 years later.”

Slim went on to say that he was grateful to be referenced on the Coachella stage: “She gave me a shout out, said my name on Coachella stage. And then she called me babe. Come on now, that’s a lot.”
He added: “That was a good shout out. Played my songs, everything. Streams up on ‘Thug From Around the Way.’ We good. We love all that, man.”
Slim continued by saying he was playing the long game: “I’mma be patient, man. Gotta come home. Slim ain’t going nowhere.”
Talking to fans on Instagram Live earlier this month, shortly after weekend one of Coachella, Slim Thug insisted that Megan Thee Stallion had a thing for him after she danced to two of his songs at the festival and once brought him out at a separate show.

“Did y’all see Thee Stallion dancing to ‘Thug From Around the Way’ and ‘Still Tippin’?” he asked his followers. “If that ain’t a ‘I want you daddy’ call, I don’t know what is. So I’m just waiting on my day, kid. I’m just waiting on her to come to Houston and hit my line like, ‘Hey I’m in the town! Pick me up!’
“It’s only a matter of time at this point. She brought me out in Houston. I know she got a crush on me by this point. She danced to two of my songs! I’d say I’m in there. I think I’m in there. What y’all think?”
