Slick Rick Creates Limited Edition T-Shirt Collection

Slick Rick is collaborating with Teespring for a T-shirt collection based on his jewelry, AllHipHop reports.

“I’m very excited to offer the public this first-ever item of clothing from me,” Slick Rick says. “I chose to partner with Teespring because their brand, like mine, is about self-expression and communicating a unique identity. The company’s raw materials as well as its printing is the highest quality I could find.”

The T-shirt has a screenprint of gold chains reflecting those that the rapper wears. The shirt was printed in blue and white, but the white color is the only one still available. The limited edition clothing is available for purchase on the Teespring website through Wednesday (September 2) and retails for $25.99.

Rick the Ruler is also holding an Instagram contest for a chance to meet him. Participants must post a picture of themselves wearing the shirt and write “#BELIKETHERULER” in the post.

      1. Does that mean “Nobody”, or just you? How do you know? Did you ask everyone? Are you the world ambassador to hip hop? Why do you call him a joke? What have you done that’s better? have you toured the world? Have you sold millions of records? Have you pioneered anything? Have you created anything other than trolling? Are you employeed anywhere other than Church’s Chicken? Did you graduate high school? Did you graduate college? As a matter of fact, who in the fu*k are you?

    1. Listen fuck boy. This man Slick Rick is in London having tea and crumpets lmfao what a loser he can’t even leave the uk lmfao

    2. I wish Hip Hop appreciated its OGs more. We throw em away like stale popcorn. Rick’s an all-time great MC with classic albums and singles and yet… we act like we’ve never heard of him.

I’m not saying you need to buy the shirt. But this brother has 2 classic albums and influenced cats who influenced cats you love. At least know who dude is and his accomplishments before slandering him.

      Hiphop hates its elders.

    6. Dont pay any attention to the obvious trolls here in the comment section, he/they just baiting yall. They obviousl;y know who Slick Rick is. I see this on any article about vteren rappers, the trolls start hating just to get some feedback. Let the trolls troll.

    7. While he was cool for his time, it’s true when people say he’s a “has been”. And it’s not disrespectful to say that either, just acknowledging that he’s not particularly relevant now.
