Skilla Baby has landed himself in quite a sticky predicament after embroiling himself in a physical altercation with a fellow Detroit-based rapper.

On Friday (October 13), a video surfaced on Twitter which showed the 25-year-old rapper slapping another rapper by the name of GMO Stax. The incident, which took place at Detroit’s Ford Field ultimately led to Skilla getting jumped.

“He’s getting jumped. He getting jumped,” bystanders can be heard screaming in the background of the video as they follow behind the protégé of Sada Baby, who runs through the arena before GMO Stax and what appears to be his crew catch up to him.

Though it’s unclear what ignited the feud, it is believed the individuals exchanged words as Skilla Baby was taking photos with fans following a performance.

In July, the rapper, along with Tee Grizzley were on the promotion circuit for their latest collaborative effort, Controversy, which dropped back in April. The duo released a visual to “Gorgeous;” arguably their most popular track from the disc.

Ha, six figures for a Patek, it’s gorgeous/ Diamond links on my wrist full of pointers/ Cuban link on my neck, this bitch gorgeous/ We eat the most, bust tint, it’s enormous,” Skilla raps on the hook, which aligns with the direction they took the song’s visuals in.

Toward the end of the video, both artists stand side by side holding fat stacks of cash. “This ain’t the video money,” Grizzley says while facing the camera after the music stops playing. His fellow Michigan MC then adds: “Boys makin’ real dollars.”

On partnering with Tee Grizzley, Skilla told The Detroit Times: “We liked how we worked together, and we felt it made sense if we did a project together.”

Meanwhile, both rappers recently stopped by HipHopDX for an in-depth conversation about everything from Eminem’s 8 Mile to their new project, toxic lyrics, Taylor Swift and more.

During the chat, DX brought up how Tee Grizzley was named alongside fellow Detroit natives Payroll Giovanni and Big Sean as collaborators Nipsey Hussle was eyeing.
