Sheek Louch isn’t the only rapper feeding his fans for the Halloween season, Lloyd Banks returned with his Halloween Havoc IV: The 72nd Hour mixtape on Tuesday (October 31).
The former G-Unit rapper’s new project clocks in at 15 songs and includes production from some of his closest collaborators, including George Gentson, Cartune Beatz, Haas Almadhi and Mr. Authentic, to name a few.
Lloyd Banks first announced Halloween Havoc IV: The 72nd Hour a couple of weeks ago, sparking excitement among his loyal fanbase. He later shared a spooky, cinematic trailer that felt inspired by The Purge.
His first Halloween Havoc mixtape landed in 2008, with parts two and three arriving in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Before the latest installment, which hit No. 1 on the iTunes charts, Banks made his long-awaited return to music in 2021 with his fourth studio album The Course of the Inevitable, jump-starting another beloved series in his catalog.
For his next act, Banks teased Cold Corner 3 for 2024, but he’ll be selling the project himself for $100 rather than utilizing streaming.
“It’s all good..CC3 won’t be on streaming sites..only available thru me for $100 then we’ll see if they back the talking up,” he wrote in response to a fan demanding more music.
