Sexyy Red Believes She Was Tailed In Mexico After Being Detained At Border

Sexyy Red was in Mexico over the weekend and claimed she was stopped at the border before being followed by authorities.

The St. Louis rapper took to her Instagram Stories in the early hours of Sunday morning (March 17) to praise fans for waiting, despite Mexican law enforcement allegedly giving her a hard time.

Red thanked people for staying out until 3 a.m. to see her after being held up at the border, claiming it was due to having too much money and jewelry on her.

“It’s been real, Mexico,” Sexyy Red began. “Thanks for fucking with a real bitch. Y’all was lit up, on god.

“Damn, we got stopped at the border. Took us hella hours at the border, they still waited on me. It’s 3 o’clock. They just now leaving the club, period. They fuck with a real bitch, and I fuck with them for fucking with me.

“We’ve been stuck at the border all day. I had too much bands on me, they couldn’t handle that shit. Too much jewelry on me, they couldn’t handle that shit .. They weren’t fucking with your girl. They told me I was like Griselda Blanco.”

She continued: “Y’all hoes can’t say y’all went to Mexico and had to get stopped at the border ’cause I had them fucking racks on y’all, ’cause I had jewelry on y’all. Y’all hoes can’t say that. Too many buckers. Where my fingers at?”

Red posted the videos from the back of a car while showing the busy streets outside.

Sexyy Red went on to say she was eager to grab her belongings from the hotel and leave the country after the hassle she had been through.

She claimed authorities stopped her again on her travels and were tailing her using drones, telling her 3.5 million followers they aren’t “drug dealers.”

She added: “But now we at the hotel, they got drones and shit watching us. We ain’t no drug dealers, baby.”

As part of her trip to Mexico, Sexyy Red also performed at Papas & Beer’s Spring Break 2024 in Rosarito Beach on Sunday (March 17).
