Sexyy Red Sued For $5M For Allegedy Encouraging Violence Against Her Child's Grandmother

Sexyy Red has been hit with a $5 million lawsuit after allegedly encouraging violence against her baby daddy’s mother.

According to the suit, which was filed by Nicole Barnes, the “SkeeYee” rapper used social media to encourage attacks on the woman, who is the paternal grandmother of one of Sexyy’s children.

The St. Louis native is accused of telling her followers on Facebook in early December to “conduct acts of violence” against Barnes, including “kick[ing] in the door” of her home.

Barnes also alleges that Sexyy posted her address and a picture of her home on the social media platform.

Barnes’ attorney Steven Weaver spoke to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch about the case and said: “Sexxy Red and her baby daddy are getting into beefs, for whatever reason, that have nothing to do with my client.”

He added: “We did try to informally resolve it, and her attorneys thought it was a joke. And now they’re finding out it’s not.”

Weaver also stated that Barnes originally filed a police report over the posts and was forced to move house, but has been unable to purchase a new home for financial reasons.

Barnes further claims that she is living in fear thanks to the posts and has begun therapy to deal with the distress it has caused.

Sexyy Red is being sued for $5 million in damages.

She has yet to comment on the lawsuit, while little is known about the father in question.

Sexyy is well aware that not everybody is a fan of her’s.

Speaking on Big Boy’s Neighborhood earlier this week, she admitted that she feels like the “most-hated” female rapper in the game right now.

“I think [the hateful comments] are getting bigger,” she said. “I feel like I’m the most hated female rapper. They hate on me the most. I get a lot of love, but they be hating on me.

“It be little inside shit. They tryna put me down. I be feeling like, is y’all sending people to comment under here? I feel like it’s some hidden agendas.”

Sexyy continued: “It could be labels, it could be everyone. I just feel like muthafuckas tryna bring me down. They don’t like seeing me win. And I be seeing people say that in the comments!

“They be like, ‘Why do y’all hate her so much? What do she do to y’all? She just be chilling!’”
