Sexyy Red has claimed that major concert promoters are attempting to sabotage her upcoming tour.
The “Pound Town” rapper made the accusation on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday (July 8) in response to a post claiming that her Sexyy Red 4 President Tour was on the verge of being canceled due to low ticket sales.

Denying the report, she said: “My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine we not cancelling no tour dis cancelling sht all cap.”
The St. Louis native then claimed that her decision to use an independent Black-owned tour company had left a sour taste in the mouths of larger outfits, who she believes are now using underhanded tactics in an attempt to derail her tour.

“I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets.”
The rapper did not offer proof that concert promoters were conspiring against her.

Last month, Sexyy Red announced her second headlining tour which is scheduled to begin in August.

Featuring support from Hunxho, the 26-city trek will invade cities such as Oakland, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Orlando and Sexyy’s hometown of St. Louis.
Tickets for the tour have been on sale for under two weeks.
Her tour title appears to be a response to her one-time endorsement of Donald Trump, which she has since walked back after widespread criticism.
“It’s Sexyy Red 4 President [American flag emoji] I’m my own candidate I’m not endorsing anybody period [kiss emoji],” she wrote on social media at the start of June.

The 26-year-old faced backlash for performing in front of a MAGA-themed hat at Roots Picnic, which came after she publicly backed the controversial former president.
“I like Trump,” Sexyy said on comedian Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast last year. “They support him in the hood. At first, I don’t think people was fucking with him. They thought he was racist, saying little shit against women.
