Sexyy Red has hit back at a wild claim that she is a secret CIA agent who has been planted to promote “degeneracy.”
The “Pound Town” hitmaker faced more criticism over the weekend when a viral post on X (formerly Twitter) took issue with her music content and persona.

“I don’t like Sexyy Red and it has nothing to do with respectability politics. Her entire brand is degeneracy,” the critic wrote. “It’s not owning her sexuality like Megan nor does it offer authenticity like Glorilla. She gives me CIA vibes.”
The St. Louis native swiftly responded by bluntly writing: “Fawk u btch.”

Sexyy Red is no stranger to controversy since rising to fame last year.
Earlier this year, she ruffled feathers when she was booked to perform at the Roots Picnic, leading band founder and festival organizer Questlove to be heavily scrutinized.

“Of ALL the sisters doing positive Hip Hop y’all really gonna promote this Hot ass mess?” one unimpressed fan wrote on social media, while another referenced one of The Roots’ classic songs: “I guess the song ‘What They Do’ has officially lost its meaning.”
Her eventual performance at the annual Philadelphia festival only further fueled the fire when she performed in front of a giant onstage MAGA cap that was tweaked to say: “Make America Sexyy Again.”
The rapper had earlier expressed support for controversial former president Donald Trump, saying: “I like Trump. They support him in the hood. At first I don’t think people was fucking with him. They thought he was racist, saying little shit against women.
“But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Aww baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office. We need him back because, baby, them checks. Them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you.”

However, following the backlash to her Roots Picnic set, Sexyy appeared to backtrack on her comments by tweeting: “It’s Sexyy Red 4 President [American flag emoji] I’m my own candidate I’m not endorsing anybody period [kiss emoji].”
