Happy World Tiger Day, Carats!
SEVENTEEN member HOSHI and Korean hip hop legend Tiger JK released their tiger-inspired track, “호랑이” (Tiger) last July 28 in celebration of World Tiger Day and Tiger JK’s birthday.
The track had both rappers channel their tiger-like attitude, an animal that both artists are frequently associated with. HOSHI’s stage name is an abbreviation of “tiger’s gaze,” which is the English translation of a Korean term that loosely connotes “ferocity.” He is known for the phrase horanghae or “I tiger you” in English.
