After assuming the role as President of Def Jam South Records, many Scarface fans thought that would signal the end of his rap career. After launching the career of the multi-platinum rapper Ludacris, the longstanding hip-hop legend, Scarface, has decided to step back in the front line of the rap game. On July 2, Scarface will drop his highly anticipated album The Fix.
Dropping the name scar, Face as he is now officially known as, is still in the studio working on the finishing touches for the album. Special guest appearances for the album are Nas, Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel. Eager hip hop heads can get a glimpse of what to expect on the album with the blazing track “Guess Who’s Back” featuring Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z, currently rotating on the underground. According to his spokesperson, Face will be releasing the singles “My Block” and “Heaven Part 2” within the next few months. No word yet on which track Nas will be featured on.
