Salt-N-Pepa are central to the History of Hip Hop, and their contributions to the culture have now been honored in the form of their very own action figures.

On Wednesday (May 29), Bay area design house Super7 released toys of Cheryl James, aka Salt, and her fellow spitter Sandra Denton, aka Pepa, making them the first female MCs to have a product of this kind to their name.

The group’s longtime DJ Spinderella (born Deidra Roper) has not been included in the package.

The plastic toys feature both rap veterans wearing the outfits from their breakthrough 1987 music video for “Push It.” The song ultimately sold 1.5 million copies across the globe and even earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance.

Prior to this, Super7 also cemented the legacies of other Hip Hop groups such as OutKast, Run-DMC and Beastie Boys with similar releases.

As for solo acts, the company has previously paid homage to MF DOOM, RZA, Ghostface Killah, Notorious B.I.G. and KRS-One with their own custom toys.

In similar news, The Alchemist was recently immortalized as a Breaking Bad-inspired action figure.

Earlier this week, Trap Toys put together a figurine of the veteran producer dressed as the iconic Walter White character from the show mentioned above, combining his “Alan the Chemist” nickname with Bryan Cranston’s meth-cooking alias.

Each standard version of the figurine, dubbed “Alc Heisenberg,” will cost $190, with signed versions setting fans back $320.
