On Friday (September 1), the self-proclaimed “stunt man” took to Instagram where he revealed how the “Beautiful Girls” recording artist took him under his wing for nearly two years — and allowed him to crash at his pad during a time of financial instability.

Meanwhile, the father of two recently gave his opinion on men receiving child support. According to Samuels — who is no stranger to navigating relationship issues himself — women should be the only ones on the receiving end of monetary support.

“A man getting child support is crazy. He might as well put on a dress,” Safaree tweeted last month. The comment came hot on the heels of news surrounding Halle Berry and her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez — in which Berry was ordered to fork over $8,000 per month in child support.

After The Neighborhood Talk reposted his tweet, people in the comments section wasted no time bringing up his own hectic divorce from Erica Mena back in 2021.

“Judge ! Up his child support payments just for talking [unamused face emoji],” one person said, while another added: “You started paying yours yet? I’m asking for Erica.”

A third person tried to inform Safaree about child support by simply saying: “Child support is non discriminatory sir.”
