Rihanna has officially been surpassed as the richest female musician in the world, with Taylor Swift now claiming the top spot.
Per an update from Forbes on Monday (October 7), Swift’s net worth is now clocking in at $1.6 billion – just ahead of Rih’s $1.4 billion. The push from Swift’s prior $1.1 billion net worth in October 2023 comes mainly from her Eras Tour, which alone has grossed over $2 billion as of earlier this year. The worldwide trek – which is the highest-selling tour of all time – began in March of last year and will end this December.

As for Rih, her net worth is mainly attributed to her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line, which is currently worth around $2.8 billion. She also has a 28% stake in her highly successful Savage x Fenty lingerie line, and continues to rake in money from her discography.
Rihanna’s also been bringing in endorsement money, most recently becoming the newest face of J’Adore Fragrance by Dior.

Making her debut in a short film from the luxury brand last month, the Steven Klein-directed clip finds Rih Rih walking through the Palace of Versailles in France in a gorgeous gown to the tune of her 2016 smash, “Love on the Brain.”
At the end of the video, Rih turns to the camera and says: “Your dreams, make them real.”

Rih, who became Dior’s first Black ambassador in 2015, replaces the brand’s longtime spokeswoman Charlize Theron.
While she’s busy being a boss in her professional life, things seem to be going quite well in Rihanna’s personal life as well.
Talking to Billboard about his new music for an in-depth interview published late last month, her partner A$AP Rocky opened up about life at home and why he and Rih are so well matched.
“It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules,” he said. “[The relationship] is going great. I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend [the] most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.”
