Rihanna used to be the clapback queen on Twitter back in the day, and one fan just caught a glimpse of that when he got a little too comfortable while demanding new music.

On Tuesday night (December 31), Rihanna posted a video celebrating the new year – where she revealed she remained sober for all of 2024.

Clearly uninterested in the sober feat, a fan named Lorenzo wanted to know about the music instead, commenting, “We want an album forehead.”

Rih quickly gathered him in response, writing: “listen Lorenzo! You ain’t cute enough to be calling me by my black name you dizzy fuck!”

Just before Christmas, Rihanna agreed to a rare interview with popular Instagram account @mysteryfashionist, which asks celebrities about the outfits they’re wearing.

RiRi began by explaining her ‘fit which was comprised of a New York Yankees hat, vintage Christian Dior jacket, YSL pants and several belts, before she was asked a few questions.

When quizzed about “a common misconception” about herself, the singer answered: “Y’all don’t know me, I’m ghetto as fuck.”

Rih also revealed her biggest fashion regret, saying: “When I first started and I was wearing baggy jeans with the panties out. What the fuck was I thinking, bruh?”

She then joked: “It’s called growth, y’all!”

As far as music goes, the superstar recently hinted that she was going to retire from that part of her career after not releasing an album in almost a decade.

RiRi, who also runs lingerie and skincare brands, was speaking at the launch of Fenty Beauty in Barbados when she made the shock statement.

She said: “I would say music was the thing that got the attention. But God had other plans for me and I was able to create in ways … that were very sincere and genuine or organic and authentic to the things that I love.”

Rih continued: “So it doesn’t even feel like a job. But when you bring it home, I cannot express to you guys what this day means for me to be able to celebrate with the people that deserve it the most, the community that has always propelled me to the next place and given me the strength and the grace and you guys have always inspired me.”

The news would not necessarily be a shock given Rihanna last released an album in 2016 and her musical output since has been limited to soundtrack appearances on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022.
