Jamaica

Rick Ross appears to be having the time of his life out in Jamaica, but there’s one adventure in particular that’s getting all the attention.

A video of the MMG mogul tubing out on the Jamaican water went viral on Tuesday (April 11), and shows Rozay enduring a bumpy ocean ride as he’s being tugged around by a speed boat alongside two friends.

Ross was seen holding onto the float for dear life while rocking a life jacket over his soaking wet t-shirt, as his 2010 anthem “Aston Martin Music” booming through the boat’s speakers.

It’s unclear if Rick Ross is taking care of any business in Jamaica or simply enjoying some time away with his team, but it’s been an eventful trip in any case. Over the weekend, the heavy-set rapper was somehow mistaken for Drake by two local fans.

“Do you know my name?” Rozay asked the two women in a clip posted to his Instagram Stories.

After hesitating for a few seconds, they both answered: “I do… Drake.”

“Incorrect,” a disappointed Ross replied before informing them he’s “the big belly rude boy, true ting dis.”

The Florida native tagged Drake in his post, writing: “@champagnepapi they need you in Jamaica.”

Drizzy caught wind of the hilarious mix-up and kept the joke going on his own Instagram Story, writing back: “At least they know we identical twins @richforever.”

Even though there may not be any physical resemblance between the pair, the Drake-Rick Ross connection in the studio can’t be denied as they’ve proven to be a dynamic duo over the years on tracks such as “Aston Martin Music,” “Stay Schemin,” “Lord Knows,” “Gold Roses,” “Diced Pineapples” and “Money in the Grave,” among others.
