Rick Ross has announced that he would like to collaborate with Tyrese on some new music in what appears to be an attempt to further troll DJ Envy.

The MMG boss took to his Instagram Stories on Friday (September 15) to request he and Ty get in the studio together. “Let’s drop one!” he wrote, tagging the “Sweet Lady” singer in his post.

That same day, he left a comment on a post by Hollywood Unlocked, announcing his long-term plans with the singer. “I want to sign Tyrese to MMG,” he wrote.

On the surface, Tyrese and Rick Ross don’t seem to have much in common, but as it turns out, both have issues with DJ Envy.

Tyrese and Envy’s rift began last week when Envy confronted the Fast & Furious actor live on The Breakfast Club over “disrespectful” texts he allegedly sent his wife, Gia Casey.

Tyrese later refuted Envy’s claims, sharing receipts of alleged text messages between the three of them while asking: “Does anything about our communication feel like I actually disrespected his wife or him?”

In a series of since-deleted videos posted to Instagram on Thursday (September 14), the 44-year-old doubled down on his denial while calling out DJ Envy for cheating on his wife, allegedly scamming people with a “Ponzi scheme” and being a hypocrite when it comes to mental health awareness.

“I’ma let a lot of people down from the choice that I’m about to make. I’ve been asked to leave it alone,” Tyrese began. “Envy, you know how you said, ‘I don’t give a fuck about nothing … when it comes to my wife and my family, I don’t play no games.’

“You goofy-ass [inaudible]. No one has disrespected your wife and your family more than you. You know the most dangerous thing about me? I know what I know about the level you took it to. I’ll leave it at that.”

He continued: “Ponzi scheme, stealing all this money from all of these innocent people — that ain’t got shit to do with me. What you did behind her back with the one, with the two, with the 10 — that ain’t got nothing to do with me.

“See, you’re a manipulator, you’re a gaslighter, and you’re also one of those great undiscovered actors … How the fuck are you living a double, triple life, and your wife, who is completely innocent and sweet, had no sign and no indication whatsoever that you was out doing what you was doing?

“You had to be one of the baddest muthafuckas I’ve ever known to cheat on your wife — ever! I mean, n-gga, you ain’t leave a trail of popcorn down the hallway at all! Hats off to you.”

Rick Ross, meanwhile, has been beefing with DJ Envy since May, when the MMG mogul took a swipe at the Breakfast Club co-host during his interview on Drink Champs, declaring he was “never on my level” when it comes to hosting car shows.

Rozay threw his second annual car show at his sprawling Promise Land estate in Georgia in June, while Envy hosted two car shows in Memphis and Houston over the summer.

After light jabs were exchanged, things quickly became personal when Rick Ross dragged DJ Envy’s family into the feud, requesting he and his girlfriend and children clean his swimming pool.

“DJ Envy, you just gave me a good idea. I just told the people who are coming to clean up my pool to hold on ’cause I said Envy and his seven sons can come over here, y’all can handle this pool for the pool party, July 2nd,” he said, taunting Envy in an Instagram Story video.

“And Envy, out of respect and love for you, that part of the pool, I’m saving that just for yo girlfriend and her lil’ baddies. DJ Envious, you just started a pool cleaning service. ‘Cause you got a job, you work. I’m kinda confused — you talking to a boss and you got a job that you gotta report to. Don’t get fired by that white man!”

Envy later fired back by donning a police uniform and doing an “Officer Ricky” impression on The Breakfast Club, taking shots at Ross’ past stint as a correctional officer, which has remained a contentious point of discussion throughout his career.

For what it’s worth, Rick Ross and Tyrese collaborated all the way back in 2011, when they did a remix of “Stay” with Faith Evans on the track, as well.
