Remy Ma and Papoose made a rare public appearance together over the weekend, but the former’s body language has only fueled speculation that the Hip Hop power couple have broken up.
In a clip with their daughter from Pap’s 46th birthday party at Brooklyn Chop House in New York City, Remy — who has been married to the “Alphabetical Slaughter” rapper since 2008 — appeared unhappy and distant.
Fans online were quick to comment on her body language given the rumors that have followed the couple over the last year.
One said: “Remy gone have to teach her face to use it’s inside voice because it’s screaming I DON’T WANT TO BE HERE.”
Another commented: “She is disgusted by him..idk what he did but that body language and faceeeee.”
There were also plenty of jokes, with one comment reading: “Somebody said this what doing it for the kids look like,” while another said: “Lmao Remy don’t do that man like that on his birthday at his party. you could have just dropped the baby off.”
The couple have been rumored to be on the outs since last summer when cheating allegations against Remy Ma emerged.
Remy is alleged to have cheated on her husband with battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain, who appeared to confirm the affair in an audio clip that was posted online in December.
“Yo, we was fucking with each other,” a person believed to be Eazy could be heard saying. “She was cheating on [inaudible] such and such, whatever happened […] I should have known, me being in fucking New York.
“Me being at Rem jawn, I know I’m fucking his bitch. I knew this n-gga should have been plotting on me because I would have been doing the same thing.”
Remy and Eazy were also seen attending a Philadelphia Eagles game together and on what appeared to be a dinner date.
While the “All the Way Up” hitmaker has faced backlash over the alleged affair, she shared a cryptic post in November about keeping the secrets of people who have wronged her.
In a message rumored to be about Papoose, she said: “You shitted on me & I still never exposed you. I know secrets about people I don’t fuck with anymore and their secrets will never leave my mouth. My character will never be questioned. It’s cool though.”
Remy previously denied the cheating allegations, writing on X: “Can y’all pleasee STOP with the Eazy & Pap LIES.”
