Ray J has revealed that he is confident that Diddy is going to triumph in his upcoming sex trafficking trial.

Speaking on Sneako’s stream, the “One Wish” singer said: “Puffy ‘bout to get out too, on the dead homies, n-gga.”

Ray J continued by attacking the strength of the prosecution’s case: “Puffy getting out. All that shit they’re trying to charge that n-gga for is nonsense, bro. He did something bad that we all seen and that shit’s unacceptable, but that’s not what the charges are for. The charges are weak, and it’s not funny and it’s not okay.”

The R&B singer has had a number of contradictory opinions about Diddy and the many accusations made against him ever since Cassie first accused her ex-boyfriend of sexual assault and sex trafficking in November 2023.

Ray started by condemning Diddy’s actions, especially against Cassie, calling his assault of her “demonic”.

However, since the singer was confronted by the Bad Boy founder’s sons at a Halloween party last year, Ray J’s stance on Diddy has softened considerably.

Appearing on NewsNation’s Cuomo in November, Ray J said: “Is any of it real? Or how much of it is real? I think that’s where we are now because they just keep piling on. Now everybody is starting to feel weird about it and it’s starting to look like it’s one-sided against one man, and people aren’t liking it.”

Ray J specifically cast doubt on Diddy’s alleged “freak offs,” which prosecutors have described as “elaborate sex performances” where the record executive would force women to sleep with male prostitutes for his pleasure.

He claimed: “I think that there might have been times where people have partied with a certain team of people and there might have been a ‘freak off,’ right? But I can guarantee you, most of the celebrities that went to Diddy’s parties never even heard of a ‘freak off.’”

Ray added: “Everybody that’s super legitimate, that’s an A-List celebrity, from my knowledge — I just know that I have never seen a ‘freak off’ — what does that really mean?“Is that really real? Are we creating a new narrative for something that’s not there? Was there really dope in the baby oil? What are we doing?”
