Rap Release Dates: Tony Yayo, Mariah Carey, Ludacris

    Several artists recently announced the February release of their upcoming mixtapes including B.o.B., Bun B, Cassidy, Chris Brown, Curren$y, Joell Ortiz and Novel, Juelz Santana, Kuniva, OJ Da Juiceman, Styles P, and Wordsmith. While Tony Yayo has been advertising that his Gunpowder Guru: The LP album prequel will hit iTunes on February 9, it appears that the project has sprung an early leak today thanks to Amazon.com. Just three weeks after his release of Prenuptial Agreement, J. Stalin will release his follow-up entitled The Annulment. Speaking of follow-ups, Sadat X has revealed the delay of his forthcoming Wild Cowboys II album until March 23. As mentioned in last week’s edition of Rap Release Dates, Sadat X will tide fans over with the Wild Cowboys II EP, slated for the album’s original February 23 release date.     Looking further out, 8Ball & MJG, Reflection Eternal, Krayzie Bone, Little Brother, Pastor Troy, Lil Jon, and Macy Gray have all pegged release dates for their forthcoming projects. Their respective projects will drop on the following dates: Ten Toes Down and Revolutions Per Minute on April 6, Fixtape Vol. 3 – Lyrical Paraphernalia and LeftBack on April 20, King Of All Kings on May 4, and Crunk Rock and The Sellout on May 18. In addition, Trina revealed that her Amazin’ album would hit the streets a month sooner, while Joell Ortiz, Chamillionaire, and Jamie Foxx are making fans wait a little bit longer for their next albums. Their respective projects will come out on the following dates: Amazin’ on May 4, Free Agent on April 20, Body on May 25, and Venom on June 15.
