Rap Release Dates: The Weeknd, Earl Sweatshirt, Young Dro, Adrian Younge & Souls Of Mischief

Album release dates are coming full circle as the summer moves on.

The Weeknd’s next album is called Kiss Land and has no release date yet pinned. The singer-songwriter recently released the album title and cover art for the project. The album is a follow-up to 2012’s Trillogy, a repackaging, which joins his three previous mixtapes, with three added tracks.

Earl Sweatshirt announced the release date of his upcoming album. Doris will hit shelves on August 20 as the Odd Future member took to Twitter and shared a screenshot of the full tracklist from the album. Earl Sweatshirt released the free album Earl in 2010, which was available to download through the Odd Future website and was his last solo album release.

Young Dro will release his fourth-coming album in 2013. While no specific release dates has been yet stamped down, Dro says his High Tymes album is slated for an October release and features the single “F.D.B.” The album will be released through eOne Music and T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint and is the follow up to Young Dro’s Best Thang Smokin’, which was released in 2006.

Souls of Mischief will be releasing a new album and they are teaming up with Adrian Younge to do so. Last Wednesday, Younge’s publicist gave HipHopDX the cover art to the album titled, There Is Only Now. XXL reported that the LP is “centered on the Hip Hop group nearly dying and the aftermath of the incident.” No release date is yet known for the project.

Deltron 3030 will release the follow-up to its self-titled debut album. Event II will be released through Bulk Recordings and is set to drop on October 1 according to turntablist Kid Koala’s status on Twitter.

Kevin Gates, Mayer Hawthorne, Ace Hood and more all release albums Tuesday.

    3. PUsha joining good music was a huge mistake. The shit they were coming out with pre-good was so much better than anything hes done in the last 3 years. If you listened to any clipse album or mixtape you will know what I’m talking about. I expected him to get a bunch of Kanye beats(old kanye), and instead hes been there three years with only 3 of yes new much worse beats. He has sacrificed lyricism and has gotten worse production than the neptunes produced clipse albums. Now he has his album pushe bck after being there for three years. It took Big Sean 4 years to put his out on good music. Good is pisssinnn me off

    4. I don’t know what to think of album I’ve been waiting to hear being pushed back. SHFH
