Rap Release Dates: Maybach Music Group, Killer Mike, Nick Cannon, Edo G.

Mid-May releases are proving to stick, as most albums anticipated this week have lived up to their slated release dates. Killer Mike takes his pledge to Part 3 with PL3DGE, his album that completes the trifecta of social commentary mixed with danceworthy Hip Hop. New father Nick Cannon drops his Hollywood Mr. Showbiz this week, and UK rapstar Tinie Tempah drops a reworked version of his UK album Disc-Overy.

Next week will surely excite Rick Ross fans, as Self Made Vol. 1 hits stores. The Maybach Music Group compilation will feature Ross’ new blood including Wale, Meek Mill, and Pill, along with cameos from J. Cole (“Fitted Cap”) and Jadakiss (“600 Benz” ), as well as Teedra Moses and D.A. of Chester French. The album also features leaked tracks like the overly remade “Tupac Back” along with “Pandemonium” .

    1. Wasn’t Shyne’s new album supposed to drop today!? Dude’s not even on the Def Jam website anymore. Looks like they dropped him as soon as LA Reid jumped ship :-S

    2. C’mon Crooked! Drop that Million Dollar Story already. Been waiting for that motherfucker longer than Dre fans been askin for Detox…..

    3. Tinie Tempah’s album “Disc-Overy” is phenomenal! A true 5 star album, with great collaborations, and insane beats! Everyone should check it out! I really do believe Tinie is the next best thing! I can not wait to see more from him the future!
