Quentin Miller is stepping into the spotlight as he released his debut album, Gunmetal Grey, on Christmas yesterday (December 25).
The project is made up of eight songs and a bonus track and has no listed features, but includes a tribute to Post Malone.
Gunmetal Grey follows Miller’s string of mixtapes through his Hey! Thanks a Lot series. He made headlines last year when he was accused of being Drake’s ghostwriter, but denied writing any bars for the Toronto superstar.
Quentin Miller’s Gunmetal Grey album stream, cover art and tracklist are below.
- Grey Leather
- Expression 3
- Look What I Did
- Make It Take It
- Bad Intention
- Gun Metal Bapes
- Post Malone
- Gold
- To Turning 27 (Bonus Track)
Some people are simply meant to write for others and Quentin Miller is a prime example of that. We saw that with the release of the Drake demos that he has some talent as a writer, but his flow lacks charisma and energy – basically, it’s boring. Not everyone can be a star.
That’s how I feel about The Dream. Great songwriter, producer and background singer, but meh as an artist.
I dis agree.. The dream is a better all around artist that 99% of those he writes for
He just needs to put in work. Even Eminem was boring at the start. Practise makes perfect.
What defines the start for Eminem? Because the Slim Shady EP was dope as fuck . . . and even Infinite (while not a fan of the album) still showed clear talent.
I was referring to infinite, it was good but people criticized him for jacking flows and sounding flat. His lyrics were dope. Anyway I was just saying that with enough hard work and practise, this nigga, just like anyone else could put out a good album.
Wow….this is depressingly boring..stick to ghostwriting.
Aubrey: yo Q I’m gonna push my shit back so you can drop something. But only keep it under 10 songs cause I need those lyrics.
Q: Cool thanks Aubrey.
Remember the time when we called 8 Songs an EP??
I thought his album was going to be called More Life ctfu
Would love to hear and actual rapper on that Bad Intentions beat . . . he basically said the same shit twice.
New Frake album?
I hate this guy for making drake famous. Screw you Q.miller, screw you straight to hell.
He needs to go back to Drake’s lyric mill, he does nothing for me musically. But somehow Drake took his shit and made it magic.
