Quavo has put his spin on the long-running “dinner with JAY-Z or $500K?” debate — and received a response from a rumored fling.

The former Migos rapper shared photos on Instagram on Monday (February 26) of himself dining in a luxury restaurant and asked his fans if they’d rather dine with him or be given free money.

The carousel included a snap of Quavo sat at a table, a picture of his freshly-made margherita pizza and a close-up of the fine china used in the restaurant.

Huncho also adopted a new JAY-Z-inspired moniker, calling himself “Qua Z.”

“Lunch wit Qua Z or take the cheese ?” he asked his followers in the caption.

Quavo’s question received a flood of responses, with fans divided on which option to take. Some opted for the cash, with one saying: “lol just give me the money… u cool asl tho [crying face emoji].”

While others felt meeting the “Bad and Boujee” hitmaker was worth more than a bag. “Most definitely lunch,” replied one fan with apparently little hesitation.

Karrueche Tran was firmly in the latter camp as she answered: “Take the cheese,” lighting up Quavo’s comments section.

The rap star and model were rumored to be dating back in 2017, news that reportedly angered Karrueche’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Speculation surrounding the pair cropped up again five years later when they were spotted having dinner together in Los Angeles.

When quizzed about the rumors, however, Karrueche brushed them off and clarified that she and Quavo were just “friends.”

As for the “dinner with JAY-Z or $500K?” debate, Hov himself answered the viral question in an interview with CBS News’ Gayle King last year, urging fans to take the money.

“You gotta take the money,” he said matter-of-factly. “What I’ma say? You got all that [wisdom] in the music for $10.99! That’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal. Take the $500,000, go buy some albums and listen to the albums — it’s all there!

“If you piece it together and really listen to the music for the words, for what it is, it’s all there. Everything that I said was gonna happen, happened. Everything that I said I wanted to do, I’ve done. There’s the blueprint. The blueprint, literally, to me and my life and my journey is there already.”
