Quando Rondo is back to releasing music.

On Friday (February 12), Rondo put antics and beef aside to share the video for “Soul Reaper,” depicting him and a small crew toting guns, firing shos and sending plenty of threats towards nameless enemies while at an empty playground.

Not long after the release of “Soul Reaper,” fans immediately questioned whether or not Rondo mocked Lil Durk by throwing a blonde-dreadlocked look-alike in the video. The Georgia rapper took to Instagram to dispel any notion of dissing Durk.

“These fans make up anything,” he said with a laughing emoji. “Nigga don’t even be thinking like that.”

Fans however weren’t buying Rondo’s statements, considering his back and forth with Durk following the death of King Von in November 2020. Although Rondo wasn’t involved in the shooting death of Von, his cousin has been charged in connection with Von’s death.

Since the shooting, Rondo has attempted to hold shows and concerts but he’s dealt with a number of issues including one show reportedly shut down by the police. After fans deduced the report was false thanks to Rondo’s own Instagram posts, the rapper promptly deacivated his Instagram account before reactivating it to begin 2021.
