On Friday (January 19), the Memphis rap legend returned with his new hustler’s anthem which hears him spit: “Dropped ‘Chickenhead’ mane it streamed a billion/ Any hood OG say he’s a real one/ Pills used to deal them, started off stealing/ Not from England but my best mate was squealing/ Money to the ceiling.”

Pat teamed up with the Black-owned tech start-up Happy Monday to deliver the new track. The company’s platform is powered by AI and allows fans to create their own viral remixes to “HUNDRED MILLION” and other songs spanning a plethora of genres.
“I’ve been blessed to drop tracks through all eras — from tapes, vinyl, CDs, streaming, you name it. New tech always helped me get more control of my music — how it’s monetized and who owns it — not less,” Project Pat told AFROTECH.

“What’s dope about my collab with Happy Monday is it feeds the culture’s desire for options. It’s also a marketing tool for artists and producers like me to control royalty distribution from these viral remixes blowing up on social media.”
Still in its beta phase, Happy Monday is looking to reinvent the relationship between artists and fans.
In other Project Pat news, the Three 6 Mafia affiliate fondly recalled the late Mac Miller in a recent interview with HipHopDX, where he pointed out how “talented” the late rapper was.
Explaining how their bond was instant, he told DX: “I just started hitting him up. And then I just started listening to his stuff, and I said, ‘Dude is really, really talented.’ Like, he’s hard. I bought his CDs and everything.”
