23 year old Kane Beatz, a Floridian producer, has been behind the boards on a few hits including tracks off We Are Young Money and Trey Songz’s “Bottoms Up.” The Songz track was one that made noise in the clubs and in the court room as he was part of a bit of controversy related to the cut. He’s already worked with Gucci Mane, Lupe Fiasco and Lil Wayne, artists he says are some of his favorites to work with. During a recent interview with Derick G., he also listed another emcee, who fans may be surprised he’s working with.
As part of a sit-down with Derick G, Kane Beatz announced that he has produced for Nas.
“I worked with Nas recently,” he noted. “That was crazy. He’s probably one of my favorites, too, because of the way he gets in your head. His conversations are crazy. So, I liked working with Nas.”
He also acknowledged that he’d like to work with Eminem and Andre 3000 in the future.

Nas and KANEBEATZ? come on, son! Not a knock on Kane but he more lil wayne, commercial type. Nas be on some BULL! Why u not in with Just Blaze, Kanye, etc? I know he aint got no album coming no time soon, but come on. Then again, this is one of those stories that aren’t really stories. Nas has prolly been in with some of the other cats already…but no one reported it.
