Pookie Loc’s Son Says He’s Getting Death Threats On Social Media Following Jeezy Verzuz Gucci Mane

Now that the smoke has cleared on Jeezy and Gucci Mane’s epic Verzuz battle, countless culture mavens have deemed the event a big win for Hip Hop.

Through a night of well-known music, two once bitter rivals have, if nothing else, come to an understanding.

However, in the case of Quint “Leftside” Ross, the monumental event hosted by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland was anything but entertaining — despite the reheated and squashed beef all in one sitting. Taking to his social media, the self-proclaimed son of Pookie Loc (the man Gucci Mane legally killed in 2005) expressed his displeasure with both Jeezy’s CTE and Gucci’s 1017 camps while revealing his overall safety has been compromised.

“I’m gettin death threats and all,” he wrote on Facebook with a shrug on Saturday (November 21). “Let’s do it get me a new strap.”

He also hand-selected one of the many trolls antagonizing him over the aforementioned Verzuz — and all its surrounding circumstances.

During the height of Thursday night’s tension, Gucci Mane brazenly performed his 2012 diss song “The Truth,” where he relives the May 10, 2005, day where he had to fend for his life.

The Origins Of Gucci Mane & Jeezy's Bad Blood Beef

“Go dig your partner up, nigga, bet he can’t say shit/And if you looking for the kid, I’ll be in Zone 6,” Gucci Mane coldly rapped to Jeezy’s face before going on to proclaim he was smoking on “Pookie Loc pack” and the afterparty.

“Boy that nigga disrespectful asf and jeezy boy I’m upset with you cuzz,” Ross wrote in reaction to the lyrical spectacle.

      1. Wtf are you talking about? Gucci killed his dad that was sent by the same man standing infront of gucci making a live broadcasting. How tf would u feel if u just heard your dead dad disrespected for millions 2 hear

        1. I agree, even if you came to the conclusion that Jeezy did this the right way, his late friends son has had to relive all of this trauma with articles about his dad showing up again, and all these 2020 internet fucks are learning about it for the first time. Im surprised jeezy didn’t find a way to include him in this some how.

      2. How goofy are you you fuckin dork? That’s a kid getting harassed online by a grown ass man about how his pops got killed? If that happen to you as a child let’s see how you’d
Handle it tough guy coward bitch

    1. Honestly, thats a real tough one. The way Jeezy laid it out in his little speech or whatever to Gucci made a lot of sense. Essentially saying they have the power to stop people from dying like his friend or the recent string of rappers. It makes sense 1000% from that perspective but still…. thats a hard bridge for those involved to cross considering how it all went down between them. For sure props to Jeezy for that, but idk how the guys son is supposed to handle it, thatd be some emotional shit to go through.

      1. Jeezy on his hipower BS to save face, dude literally got a man killed and left his son to live with the trauma, he deserves no props and should be forever indebted to that boy. It all sounds nice but in reality Snowcone didn’t break bread or a nail to help that situation

        1. I understand that perspective too. I guess it really matters what his intent was. The part where he has an album coming out rn makes it a bit sus. The reason why I say props is thats gotta be the hardest beef to squash and if they keep pushing the narrative about people like them mattering, it could for real inspire people to be better for themselves. But yea its fair to say he hasn’t done right by his friends son, hes certainly allowed to feel a way. And if he’s just squahing the beef to have a highly publicized verzuz battle, then that’s wack. But what he said about people like him and gucci matter to the world was spot on (although I did hate that he rolled that speech into the next track he played)

          1. I hear the point you’re making which is the silver lining of this event, but the issue I have with Jeezy “squashing” this, is the fact that he initiated the problem over a rap song, got somebody killed over it, then physically did NOTHING for 15 years. Not to mention trying to lecture a man he put a hit out on.

    2. Battle never should’ve happened…this was just a way to stir up some friction in the south…I think Swizz knew this…now go link up Ghost and Action or Alicia vs ya Ex-wIfe…how bout Eve vs Fox or Kim…HOW BOUT U VS DRE? OR PREMO(ya simple ass casio shit wont last)my bad 50 already divided yaul LMAO…shout out 2 kEys////peace to Gucci and Jeezy…TheReal seesand understands BOTH sides….
