Money ain’t a thang’ for “Rapstar” lyricist Polo G.
Seemingly in the spirit of giving over Christmas, Polo G shared a few of his holiday spending splurges with his social media followers on Sunday (December 26), highlighted by the outrageous price he paid for courtside seats at the Laker and Nets game.
“Paid 75k Fa Dem Lakers vs Nets floor Tickets on gang shit was worth it fasurrrreee,” he wrote in a tweet he screenshotted and shared in an Instagram carousel post.
Polo G also spread the wealth to his family, gifting his son Tremani with a French Bulldog and sister Lailani with a custom diamond chain for Christmas.
His 16-year-old brother, rapper Trenchbaby also got a lavish gift in the form of a 2022 Range Rover SUV with a base price over $93,000.

Everyone’s career in the rap game has an expiry date, especially in the current generation of rappers it’s here today gone tomorrow. 75k on lakers tickets might seem like a cool flex today, but you could wind up in prison and do some real time and it’s career over, where’s your savings then? You can be a successful artist without having to waste so much money on bs, why not invest that money into property and build up a portfolio? I really think a lot of these dudes brains haven’t developed properly by the time they become adults, this flossing shit looks so childish sometimes
Looking at how most rappers from 10-15 years ago are broke now, I just cant believe gen z rappers are making this kind of money where they can buy random dudes expensive gifts. Its the streaming era where music is literaly free. Concerts can only make so much. The promoters have a lot of costs to cover and still make the tickets cheap enough for broke teenage fans to purchase. And then you have the Travis Scott incident, which definitely hurt the concert industry. So wheres the millions coming from ? Not too long ago Method Man said he didnt believe none of these young rappers. Im inclined to believe somebody owes some money on all these purchases. The media wants you to believe money grows on trees if your a rapper while a majority of fans struggle to make an hourly wage and cant afford to pay shit for music.
We’ll hear how he’s broke in six months…
