Plies has announced that he’s ready to go on his ‘first official date’ ever this year, revealing that the streets aren’t all what they’re cracked up to be.

The Florida native took to his Instagram on Saturday (January 27) to serenade his followers with a rendition of “My My My” by Johnny Gill. In the caption, Plies claimed that he’d be happy to do right by somebody’s daughter.

Earlier this month, Plies sought out help in the romance department from fellow rapper Common after the Chicago rap legend was spotted with Jennifer Hudson.

In the past, Common has been in relationships with several high-profile women including Erykah Badu, Serena Williams, Tiffany Haddish, Taraji P. Henson and Angela Rye.

But if anyone’s interested in getting chosen by Plies, they’ll have to come correct with their fashion choices, as the “Shawty” rapper revealed back in September that he’s more into women who opt for wearing regular clothing, rather than those who prefer to splurge on high-priced fashion.

“I’m Not Into Women Who Wear Expensive Clothes(It’s Nothing Personal A lot Of Women Look Good In Dem). I Just Admire Women Who Can Make Simplicity Look GREAT!!!!,” Plies expressed. “Originality Is Just A Turn On To Me!!!”

Many women under his tweet celebrated him for his opinion, especially being that he’s been a fixture in Hip Hop and social media culture for over 10 years and could have any woman he wants.

The same day he made the aforementioned tweet, he called for the culture to protect GloRilla at all costs after she made the sexual claim. “We Need To Protect Big Glo!!!! I Swea,” he wrote.

GloRilla shared a laugh at Plies’ response and many agreed that Glo’s sentiments need to be spread.
